National English Curriculum Forum
On 29 October, 2008, the VCAA, VATME, VATE and ALEA co-hosted a National English Curriculum forum at Princes Hill Secondary College. Each of the three Victorian professional English associations presented their reflections on the National Curriculum Board's initial advice for English. Read VATME's reflections here.
This is only a beginning and we are now planning a forum for VATME members and interested colleagues. The NCB's redrafted English advice paper is expected to become available in mid November and we hope to hold a forum in late November. We will be in touch with details as soon as we have a firm date on the paper's release.
