Learn English: the Kids Zone of the British Council Learn English web-site. Includes games, quizzes, stories, poems and songs

Insideadog: A website for young people about books and writing by the Centre for Youth Literature at the State Library of Victoria. Teenage and young adult writers and readers can read reviews on the latest books, contribute reviews, get valuable tips from writers about writing and the publishing industry, do quizzes with the chance to win prizes and find out about copyright laws and creative work. There are also loads of links to author’s websites, blogs and publishers.

Youth Central: A Victorian Government online youth initiative for young people aged 12 - 25. The site offers information and advice on jobs, study, travel, health, housing, legal issues and more. There is also up to date information on entertainment and events in their areas, reviews to read and competitions to enter.
